ADX, a rapidly growing community of thinkers and makers, is proud to announce our 1 year anniversary, celebrating Process + Prototype.  Over the past year, ADX has learned a lot from the demand we see for tools, space and professional expertise.

 

Portlanders are hungry to learn how to make things and make them better in the process.  ADX is channeling an amazing creative energy and sending it back into the world in the form of jobs, new product lines, new businesses.

 

After one year, we are making connections between teaching people new skills, developing businesses and products.  ADX collaborates with local designers to launch a Portland Made brand and line of products.  We are simultaneously expanding our in-house professional services and now offer creatives everything they need from start to finish.  From napkin sketch, to prototyped product, to small-run production, ADX removes barriers by providing an incredible network of professional resources and in-house expertise.  Our team of designers and fabricators has the skills to help creatives make their ideas come to life.

 

ADX is preparing to develop its own manufacturing facility that will take the prototypes developed both within ADX and by local designers into production.  The ADX community is making it happen.

In celebration of our 1 year, we are lifting our membership cap and offering full shop passes for $75 each (50% off our regular rate). Spaces available starting June 1st at 8am and offer ends at 9pm June 3rd. 

 

Opening Reception: Friday, June 1st 6-9pm 1 Year Bash with Sizzle Pie, Full Sail keg, New Deal Vodka, DJ Lamar LeRoy and more…

 

Member Show: Saturday, June 2nd 10-4pm Vendor fair showcasing ADX member and Portland Made prototypes, demos on CNC/Laser Cutter, workshops and more… Bro-Dogs will be on hand for lunch!
