Student Promos, Classes, and Opportunities

Students and recent graduates, now that it’s officially summertime, what kinds of projects will you tackle? We’ve seen your amazing work and know that you have ideas brewing and ready to be created. Instead of trying to assemble your own shop, investing in costly tools, or renting out expensive studio space around town, let us provide these for you at a price that won’t hurt your bank account.

At ADX we are all about collaboration, networking, and working together, and we love to see emerging designers and creators coming together to make amazing things. Leaving the classroom for the summer unfortunately means fewer chances for learning and collaboration, and we want to provide that resource for you alongside other opportunities. Our warehouse not only provides the space to work, but also to join forces with other creatives, meet other visionaries and share knowledge and skills with others. We understand that as you graduate and start to move your work into the world, those shop spaces, learning opportunities, and production areas you’ve had at school are no longer available to you. As a student or a recent graduate, you have the special opportunity to come use our space, tools, and resources at discounted promotional rate for up to one full year following graduation.

Now is the perfect time to start working on those dream projects you have always envisioned and would love to share with Portland and beyond. With our student shop pass, our metal and wood shops will tackle the entirety of your project needs along with “BYO-tools” production workspaces available for smaller scale production. Classes are also available to you at a discounted rate, and we encourage you to join us for free “getting to know the shop” meetings. These free, drop-in weekend classes are aimed at offering a better idea of what our machines are capable of, and how you can use them to further your creations.
