Annoucing Vendor Partnerships for Fabrication Fest’s Opening Reception!

We’re pleased to announce some fantastic local partnerships for food and drink vendors during the opening night reception for Fabrication Fest on September 16, 2011. Join us to take a look at some of the amazing projects being brought to life within the ADX warehouse and stick around for some great food n’ drink.

Widmer Brothers Brewing will be providing beer for the opening exhibit. We’ll be serving Otko, their fall seasonal ale, and Rotator IPA on Friday night. Widmer makes a perfect partner for their commitment to celebrating local craftsmanship. Not only is their beer entirely produced in Portland, but they make a point to support and collaborate with creative organizations like ADX.

We’ll have a special collection of food vendors selling their finest concessions throughout the night in our own version of a “maker marketplace.” Domo Dogs, a Japanese-inspired hot dog food cart, will be serving up their savory take on an American classic for Friday night’s opening reception. For those with a sweet tooth, we’ll have Miss Zumstein on hand, offering samples of all kinds of baked treats, while Fifty Licks Ice Cream is rolling up in their snazzy truck to serve up their infamous frozen fare alongside Hungry Heart Cupcakes (we’re hoping they’ll combine their food together for a super delicious treat).

Bring your rumbling stomachs and come thirsty! We can’t wait to open our doors to the community for this special event!
