Actual Industries Casting New Maker/Crafter TV Pilot!

Everyone within the ADX community is filled with amazing skills and really compelling ideas. Whether you’re a carpenter, welder, seamster, designer, artist, and beyond, why not put those to good use on an even wider platform?
Our friends at Actual Industries are in the process of recruiting makers of all types for a new television pilot. Their show, titled Old School Crafty promises to be an awesome 30-minute program featuring a group design challenge that benefits the community at large. Uniquely Portland, and embodying our collaborative mantra here at ADX, the show will bring together 6 unique contestants who are given 2 days and a minimal budget of $100 to take a recycled element from discarded material into fabulous, repurposed design. The item will then be sold locally with proceeds benefiting a Portland-based creative charity.
