Check out ADX’er Payan’s Kickstarter for the Kenya Stove.  Payan has been a great asset to the ADX community offering up his fabrication skills, knowledge and support for the community at large.

“We are raising funds to do a demonstration project in Kenya later this summer. The funds will go to supporting the building of 1000 stoves. Our project is not a charity or a business. We plan to demonstrate the Kenya Stove technology, further optimize the design so that it is compatible with Kenyan cooking styles, and work with artisans to demonstrate how to make the stove. The stoves are designed such that they can be sold at reasonable cost (approximately $5) by artisans to their customers.”
